ARRIVAL AT LAST!

Crossing the desert of Central Baja, I always enjoy the variety of cactus and especially the Boojum tree which is only found in this desert in Baja. When we get to the center of the Desert near Catavina we encounter miles and miles of boulder fields.

We finally arrived at Coyote beach at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, the 16th. We parked by our palapa from last year and plopped in a chair!!! By the next day we moved to a more southerly palapa which is next to Raven Gary. Bob has worked very diligently to make our campsite as comfortable as possible.

We have had some lovely sunrises and sunsets already. Today we inflated our new two person kayak and paddled straight out into the bay to Coyote Island. My arms are ready to drop off.

Our Thanksgiving dinner shall be eaten and celebrated at Hotel Serenidad just on the south side of Mulege. This was a very elegant resort in its day and even has an airstrip.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING to all of you!!
