Our program of crafts this season were interesting and fun! We almost always had a good time in class even as we cursed our crappy abilities in fashioning that week's craft. I present now some photoes that I may or may not have posted before!!
Lynn, our instructor for the craft classes
Nan, showing her first gourd of the season!
Lynn, not the instructor, with her first gourd.

Deb, her gourd became a bird feeder.

Me, with my lovely round, green gourd!!

Lynn and I comparing gourds.

Ann, completing her gourd.
Pearl, getting a late start with her gourd!
Lynn, with the first sea grass basket of this season
Someone's sea grass basket.
This next grouping is of kelp sewn into pouches. The "fringe', when dry, will shoot out in all directions.
Another interesting interpretation; our instructor said there are no mistakes in crafting, only opportunity!
This is my kelp pouch/basket!
