SPRING HAS SPRUNG?

Adventures traveling home

Most of our evenings are tinged a lovely pink.

The craft class held at Posada didn't start this season until March so I was only
there for two sessions. I was glad to be able to work with a gourd again. I decided not
to cut it thereby saving time by not having to clean and scrape the inside. I think it
turned out rather nicely.

These gourds belong to other class
members. I had never heard of an apple-shaped gourd before. The apple gourd turned out to
be quite versatile!
All of the gourds you see on the
table are apple gourds.

And so we left the beach in the middle of March to spend a week in Loreto
before flying home to PDX in Oregon.

The action figures to the right we found in the sand early in our stay. They stuck with us no matter the weather. Here they are waving Adios.

The Malecon in Loreto.
The inner courtyard of our Loreto hotel.
The second floor covered patio in our hotel.
